I hold a Masters Degree from Harvard University in Electronic Engineering. I served six years as a senior Vice President at United Technologies Corporation. In 1990 I found the start-up company AYA Instruments Corporation. I am its founder and owner.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
AYA Instruments has several lines of products for different markets. Our main advantage is in offering high quality high technology electronic instruments as well as custom solutions and systems to meet specific requirements. As an example, the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering selected us to design and install an elaborate solar monitoring system on its main building. It is used to gather solar energy data and in training engineering students.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our headquarter is in Pittsburgh and we are in the process of opening an office in Los Angeles.
