Powhatan Point Revitalization Association (PPRA) Organization Mission:
(a) to promote Powhatan Point, Ohio as a destination community, that would identify with vacation/conference resort having recreational facilities, unique cultural arts products retail/museums/riverwalk, and get-a-way/time-share retirement housing supported by hotel/condo development;
(b) to preserve and reuse the Powhatan High School as a community-centered sustainable facility;
(c) to promote, attract, stimulate, rehabilitate, and revitalize commerce, professioanl office, residential and natural resources in Powhatan
(d) to promote gainful employment/business opportunities for the inhabitants of Powhatan;
(e) to enhance/maintain the historical and heritage aspects of the town natural resources as historic site/museum, riverfront access, public park and recreational areas for public use;
(f) to create a cultural arts educational program and arts appreciation environment, applying classroom art instruction, development of performing art elements.
